According to meteorologists, five days from December 31 to January 4 could be the coldest days of this season. During this, the night temperature in some areas of Punjab, Haryana can go down to minus. While the night temperature in Delhi, Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh will be between 1 to 4 degrees. The day's maximum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 10 to 14 degrees.

In many areas of Delhi, the mercury reached 3 degrees between 8 am and 10 am on Monday. The Meteorological Department had already issued a yellow alert here. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.5 degrees in Palam, 5 degrees in Safdarjung, 4.0 degrees in Aya Nagar, 4.1 degrees in Ridge. More severe cold is expected in the next 5 days.

Rajasthan: Mercury minus in these 2 cities
